Continued Functionality

We understand that Revu for Mac provides many benefits to your business. To minimize any disruption, we will provide the following:

Your Revu for Mac licenses will continue working, but we will not release updates after March 2020.
All customers on Revu for Mac 2.0 have access to the 2.1 release, which includes bug fixes and improved compatibility with macOS Catalina. Customers on Revu for Mac 1.0 are able to purchase the Mac 2.1 upgrade until March 1st, 2020. If you are interested, contact sales@bluebeam.com or your local reseller.
This is only available for upgrades; maintenance sales and renewals are no longer available as of March 1, 2019.

Support Options

Will I be able to continue running Revu for Mac if I update my OS?
Revu for Mac 2.x is compatible with these versions of macOS. However, when a new version of macOS is released it’s not uncommon for there to be some changes that may affect performance, and Bluebeam will attempt to address any OS related performance issues while it is in Core Support.
After the product reaches its end of life, what resources are available to me?
All support documentation related to Revu for Mac will remain available on our Support Site.
Can I still buy seats of Revu for Mac?
New seat purchases are no longer available. Upgrades from Mac 1 to Mac 2 remain available for purchase until March 1st, 2020. If you are interested, contact sales@bluebeam.com or your local reseller.
Is it possible to run Revu for Windows on my Mac?
It is possible to run Revu for Windows on a Mac via Boot Camp or Parallels. However, there are potential variables in these scenarios that may cause compatibility conflicts with our software. Due to this, Bluebeam cannot extensively troubleshoot or resolve user issues in these environments.

Does Revu Mac have all the same features as Revu for Windows?

Not everything, but the most commonly used features from Revu Windows are available on Revu Mac. Bluebeam will continue to add features from the Windows version in future updates. Revu Mac is available via Perpetual Licensing: a one-time license purchase that is charged on a per-transaction basis. Existing customers can trade in their Revu for Windows licenses at no cost, one for one.

Can I still run Revu for Windows on a Mac if I don’t purchase Revu Mac?

Which operating system is Revu Mac compatible with?

Revu Mac is only compatible with these operating systems:

OS X El Capitan (10.11)
OS X Yosemite (10.10)

No - however Revu iPad and Vu iPad are both available on the App Store to give you PDF viewing, markup, editing and collaboration on your iPad.

What’s the difference between Revu Mac and Revu iPad?

Revu Mac is more fully featured than Revu iPad. Revu iPad is only available for purchase on the App Store and includes some of the most popular features of Bluebeam Revu Mac, enabling you to redline PDFs and collaborate with others on the go. Access and redline PDFs with measurement or markup tools, including your existing tool sets. Additionally, collaborate with project partners across the globe anywhere, anytime (even offline), and review the same PDFs together in real time using Bluebeam Studio. The Revu iPad app is designed to give you core capabilities in the field, without compromising speed.

Does Revu Mac work with CAD applications and document management software?

Revu Mac does not currently offer any plugins for CAD applications or document management software.

Is Revu Mac available in Standard, CAD and eXtreme editions?

No, Revu Mac is only available in one edition. Check out the Comparison Chart to learn which of your favorite features from Revu Standard, CAD and eXtreme are available in Revu Mac.

Revu Mac does not currently support PDF forms.
